Drew had a seizure
Prayers were answered. Drew had a seizure around 1:00 today. It was hard to see, but was what the doctors needed. Dr. Wheless would like for him to have one more, but not as strong as the one he had; so, he has put him on a light dose of anti-siezure medication. Hopefully, surgery will go on as scheduled tomorrow, Monday, as scheduled. Drew has been sleeping soundly. I'll update as soon as I know whether the surgery is tomorrow or not.

Happy Mother's Day Wenskes!!
Thanks, Cat for the update. We'll start praying now for the surgery, whenever it is scheduled. Yesterday we drove through La Grange on our way to a family reunion...the Wenske family was on our minds. We lifted Drew up in prayer as we drove through the Wenske homestead!!

Catherine - the Wenske's are COMPLETELY on my heart this Mother's Day. Maybe it's because Memphis is part of my home-front....or maybe it's just because you are such an incredible family.
In any event, we are REALLY praying hard for you. It gave me CHILLS when I started telling Bryan about Drew's latest and he said, "D., we are praying for them every day at the office." THAT IS HUGE. A group of lawyers, starting their day, PRAYING. I LOVE THAT. And especially knowing that Catherine, Dennet, Morgan and Drew are at the forefront of their business day. That's not common "practice".
We know this isn't easy, but please know you have a city full of people who love you, believe in what you are doing and praying for you. ~D.

Sounds like those doctors know what they're doing, and it's good to know that Drew's not going through any serious pain. Not only am I praying for him, but also for the strength that you all produce together in helping the doctors do their work. Hang in there!
